The staff at Bloc Systems, are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and are actively aiming to become one of the industry’s leading sustainably responsible companies.

To that end we will continue to develop our recycling processes and capabilities as facilities in the UK improve to meet Local and Global mandated targets.

When our Glasses or Goggles reach “end of life”, we ask that the users are responsible when disposing of our products, BLOC prefer user groups to consider recycling as throwing them away sends them to landfill.

It is very possible they can be repaired for reuse. Many of Bloc’s products have interchangeable lenses and arms so that they can easily be repaired, extending the working life for many years.

Bloc also carry many spare parts in stock to support our global customer base. If you are unsure if the model is repairable, please send the details of model including the product code and image to info@blocsystems; titled repair and we can then advise of the options available.

If the item is damaged beyond repair, please consider returning the items to us where we can then recycle the components responsibly and efficiently. We also can also recycle large quantities at any one time.

If you prefer to recycle your Glasses or Goggles yourselves, please remember the products can contain different materials. So, although you may think your glasses are made of only plastic, the hinges and screws could be made of metal. Ideally, you should separate the pieces, and remove the lenses in order to dispose of the pieces correctly in their corresponding recycle bins.
