UVC 200-280nm - This is the shortest wave length and potentially the most dangerous. Fortunately, most UVC light is filtered out by the ozone layer. Remember C for cancer.
UVA 315-380nm - This wavelength is known to be a major contributor to premature ageing. Prolonged exposure increases the likelihood of developing cataracts. Remember A for ageing.
UVB 280-315nm - UVB can quickly cause short term damage to eyes and skin tissue and cause an irritable burning feeling. Remember B for burn.
INFRARED - The BG24 is similar to the BG12, but has a lighter tint and falls into the Cat 2 range. Definitely more of a fashion lens rather than sport.
BLUE LIGHT - Blue light causes eye fatigue and, in some conditions, hinders focusing.
