LUCY GOSSAGE: WIMBLEBALL, IMUK 70.3 |
|

19 June, 2012
My early season 'A' race was always going to be IMUK 70.3. I felt I had unfinished business from my race there last year and really wanted to prove myself on one of the toughest courses against many of the top Brits. I'd always told training partners I'd sacrifice all my other races for a good race there – and if I could win just one race this year that would be it. Winning it would be a long shot, but I felt it was just about feasible on a good day – and I certainly wanted to give it a go.

LUCY GOSSAGE: BRITISH ELITE DUATHLON |
|

26 March, 2012
Yesterday, I raced – and won – the British Elite Duathlon Championships in Loughborough. What an unexpected dream start to my season! Me, “Diesel Engine Goss” win a sprint drafting event? Surely not! I entered this as a bit of fun, mainly because my training partners Esther Rodriguez and George Schwiening were doing it and I didn’t want to miss out. So it was meant to be a very low key, hard training session before flying out to Majorca for a training holiday.
